Claudio Ribeiro

Claudio Ribeiro is a much sought-after harpsichordist and conductor in various orchestras and ensembles. He is a regular guest on major concert stages in Europe, also in his native Brazil and in South Korea. Claudio is co-founder and artistic director of New Collegium, member of La Cicala, Radio Antiqua and the duo with Inês d’Avena.

Claudio has made CD recordings for Ramée, Ricercar, Ambronay Éditions, ORF, Brilliant and Passacaille. He combines performance with an intense research activity focused on historical performance practice and the discovery of unknown Baroque repertoire.

Claudio works as a harpsichord teacher and coach at the School for Young Talent and harpsichord accompanist at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and is regularly invited to teach at festivals in Brazil and Europe.
