Flutist Tami Krausz was born in Israel. She specializes in the performance of Baroque, Classical and Romantic music on period flutes. During her flute studies at the Tel-Aviv music academy with Yossi Arnheim and in Jerusalem with Idit Shemer, Tami became attracted to early music and historically informed performance practice. Tami completed a master's degree in soloist in early music at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where in 2001 she was cum laude graduated with Prof. Barthold Kuijken.

Tami lives in Europe and performs worldwide as a solo flutist with renowned ensembles. She had the pleasure of collaborating with 'Le Concert de la Loge', 'L'orchestre des Champs Élysées', 'B'Rock', 'The Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra', 'Vox Luminis', 'Holland Baroque', 'Capriccio Stravagante', among others, under such renowned conductors as Philippe Herreweghe, Ton Koopman, René Jacobs, Lars Ulrik Mortensen, Raphaël Pichon and Richard Egarr.

Tami has recorded CDs for the CPO, Brilliant Classics, Naïve, Aparté, Pentaton and Ramée labels. Her solo playing in F. Devienne's "Symphonie Concertante", as well as her album "Kühl Nicht Lau" -with solo works by L.v. Beethoven and F. Kuhlau together with pianist Shuann Chai were very warmly received by the international music press.

Tami is regularly invited to give recitals and masterclasses worldwide and is a guest juror at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
